An American magazine has revealed that former First Lady Michelle Obama, 53, uses a bio gel to combat wrinkles.
In an interview in Celebrities Style Magazine, Michelle Obama’s make-up artist Carl Ray, revealed that the America’s former First Lady uses Biotulin, a bio gel to combat wrinkles. Mrs Obama has recently had her 53rd birthday.
This miracle gel is claimed to mimic the effects of Botox, but it does not contain the botulinum toxin. It is the hot new way to remove fine lines, allegedly within an hour. It is not injected, but is gently massaged into the skin.
Biotulin is an American product but ironically, it was our own Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, who apparently tipped off Michelle Obama about the benefits of Biotulin.
In the magazine interview, Carl Ray states: “…. and, on the recommendation of Kate Middleton, the [now former] First Lady uses this bio Botox gel on a regular basis.
“The effect is unbelievable. One of the constituents of this gel is Spilanthol, a biological local anesthetic…Biotulin…smooths out wrinkles within just one hour.”
So, what exactly is Biotulin?
Biotulin is a transparent gel that mimics the effect of Botox but does not contain the botulinum toxin. Developed in the US by pharmacist and chemist Dr Claus Breuer, and produced in Germany, it is natural and herbal. One of the main ingredients is Spilanthol, a local anaesthetic extracted from the plant Acmella oleracea (paracress).
It is claimed that Biotulin smooths out wrinkles and that the results can be seen within an hour. The effect produced by Biotulin is claimed to be comparable to that achieved using Botox, but it is not injected.
