Cyndy and Jan hope that, one day, going into a bar and ordering A SoSensational will be as normal as ordering A Cosmopolitan which is said to be named for the glossy magazine of the same name…
This delicious cocktail has been specially created for SoSensational by Erik Lorincz, Head Mixologist at London’s famed Savoy Hotel, a Fairmont-managed property.
Here’s how to make the Savoy SoSensational Cocktail…
Add the following ingredients to a cocktail shaker:
45ml Grey Goose Vodka
40ml Pine infused apple juice* (or regular apple juice is a great alternative)
30ml Lemon juice
15ml Sugar syrup (mix equal parts sugar and hot water – allow to cool)
15ml Camomile Liqueur
Shake, and top up with Lemon Verbena
Serve in: a highball glass with ice
To decorate: Mix a small amount of sugar syrup with a few drops of hot water and brush the side of the glass. Crush camomile leaves and roll glass to create desired design. Or just drink it!
*mix regular apple juice with about 2g (approx. 1 table spoon) of pine needles per drink left in the juice to marinate before blending to extract the flavour.
