Carol Wang Jewellery

Carol Wang designs and makes exquisite, bespoke jewellery.

An honours graduate in jewellery design from top UK art college, Central St Martin’s in London, she studied jewellery design and making, and now creates individual pieces of delicate simplicity and purity taking her inspiration from natural forms and flower petals. The resulting pieces are beautiful and sophisticated, with an effortless natural elegance.

Explaining her work, Carol says: “I am constantly playing with scale, volume and colours to give my jewellery a fresh and unique look. My latest collection is inspired by drooping petals and falling hydrangea petals, using traditional forging and enamel techniques to express natural forms and to achieve the sense of movement and mood of elegance.”

For her current collection Carol uses copper and silver, which are then rose-gold plated, along with rose gold filled chains, as well as silver with freshwater pearls.

Each one of Carol’s pieces is hand-made by her, and she welcomes commissions for bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces “so they are unique and special, and have their own story for my client or for me.

“This is important because I believe the jewellery you wear reveals your character and personality, so it has to be personal to each client,” adds Carol.  

Orders may be made via email or by an appointment with Carol to discuss the occasion or outfit for which the piece is required. Commissions usually take two weeks to make.
