Top artist is #WakeleyWoman for Autumn

“Aspirational, stylish and beautiful.” Those words describe acclaimed artist Phoebe Collings-James who is the #WakeleyWoman for Autumn ’17.

But, TBH, “aspirational, stylish and beautiful” could as easily describe the entire Amanda Wakeley Collection for Autumn 2017 in which art and fashion merge beautifully to create sublime separates, dazzling dresses, covetable coats, knock-out knits – in fact, all the pieces we need for every part of our lives and, particularly, every special occasion.

The Amanda Wakeley campaign featuring Phoebe Collings-James was styled by Cathy Kasterine and shot by Liz Collins in the Amanda Wakeley flagship store on Albemarle Street, Mayfair. (Fortunately for those unable to visit the store, the entire collection is available online).

Phoebe Collings-James was selected to bring to life the style and attitude of the Amanda Wakeley Woman. She also demonstrates the diversity and beauty of the collection which ranges from relaxed cashmere knits through elegant occasion-wear to high-octane daywear and exquisite evening and party-wear.

Here is that exquisitely fluid dress again (below left) but with the detail (midi length, faux-layered sleeves and kobi belt) more clearly visible. The whole collection has a Japanese-inspired relaxed vibe, that is especially visible in the beautifully fluid silk jumpsuit (below right) and in those winding, waist-enhancing belts on the stunning dresses (middle row).
