Here’s how you’ll look amazing at the Cheltenham Ladies Day races
As we said last month, if you love everything that goes with horse-racing, especially the chance to look glamorous, you’ll love Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Festival on March 14th, the highlight of the Jump season.
And with tickets priced from £55* for Cheltenham Ladies Day, we are already planning our day watching some of the most superb jump racing.
With the festival barely five weeks away, we’ve been thinking ahead to help you find your perfect winning outfit. The Met Office is predicting a sunny March, which is great news, but this is the UK so it could still be chilly if the sun goes behind the clouds…
So our choice for race days in the spring are dresses with matching coats. Throw on the coat to head outside to see the runners and riders; if the heat turns up, take off the coat to show off your beautiful dress while, hopefully, watching your horse winning!
Prone to feeling chilly? A thermal vest under your fabulous spring outfit will stop you getting goose-bumps and can be slipped off in the Ladies Loo if the temperature soars. Also, a shawl, a stole, or a pashmina is easy to carry and can be elegantly thrown over an outfit to ward off chills.
To complete your Cheltenham Ladies Day outfit, carry a clutch with a strap or chain to leave your hands free to hold the binoculars. And don’t forget a pair of oversized sunnies to look endlessly glamorous and to permit you a great view of the horse-racing.
Have you got your tickets to Ladies Day yet? Why not get a group of your girlfriends together and head off to Cheltenham for an amazing day out!
- Ticket price: Tattersalls – £55, valid until midnight 12th March 2018, when price increases to £60.
