Here are curvy clothes to make you look impossibly gorgeous
Let’s remember that curvy is gorgeous; that being a woman generally involves having curves.
Just because photography likes hollows and straight lines, we all have the idea that being straight (AKA thin) is ideal. Photography may like ‘thin’ but artists who paint and sculpt, love shapely, curvy bodies. And we should love them, too.
To ensure we can all find fabulous fashion that flatters our curves, Jan and Cyndy have been dipping into the new M&S Curve Collection, which features dresses, tops, trousers, tees, and jackets, available in sizes 18 to 32.
Here is our pick of M&S’s new Curve collection, thoughtfully designed for curvy figures…
We love spirit-lifting (and seriously on-trend) yellow and we love how it has been crafted into this super-flattering cardi and into this wrap-front tee. That amazing, long-line top in pretty ‘blush’ and the blue, frilled top in sensuous touchable satin, are pretty yummy, too!
Here are a few of the super elegant dresses and jumpsuits from M&S’s new Curve Collection. We love the brilliant cutting and clever draping (and the versatility). Apart from the adorable flute-sleeve dress with its chiffon overlay, which shouts ‘party,’ these can all be styled one way to be the perfect occasion pieces, and styled differently to make an impressive workwear outfit.
As well as being a Spring perennial the trench coat is again a hot catwalk trend for S/S 18, so we think this beautifully styled trench will be our go-to coat this season (and for many seasons). But we also love this oversized, sleeveless coat that looks so cool styled with ankle-grazer trousers. No wardrobe is complete without a biker jacket and this one is perfect for weekend layering or for throwing over our favourite frock. And that elongated blazer is yet another clever layering piece for work and weekends.
The Curve collection includes great wide-fit shoes, too. And for all occasions (such as parties, weddings, a day at the races or any time when something elegant and glam is required), as well as for off-duty and weekend wear for which we lust after the trainers and right-on-trend boots.
We hope you like our picks! Tell us your faves below…
