Bathroom organisation is one which many of us lack enthusiasm for. From make up, skincare products to empty shampoo bottles, we’ve all been at fault for not making it the relaxing space it has the potential to be.
Here are 8 simple bathroom organisation ideas to help you maximise space and minimise clutter.
1. Use jars for storage
So simple, yet many of us forget this little storage tip. Have some nice old jars and glasses? Reuse to keep items such as cotton swaps or hair pins together. Not only is this an inexpensive way of creating storage, but they can also add a luxe appeal to a bathroom.
2. Stack paper roll in a basket
Okay, we all do it, but we can admit that just storing a few toilet rolls on the windowsill isn’t the best look. Get yourself a nice wicker basket and chuck them all in there for less clutter.
3. Store away clean towels
Create more space and a spa like feel by storing towels in a hamper. Not only does this look neat, but also stops them from ending up on the wet floor. We recommend something similar to the Maize Natural Laundry Basket (£20.00) from Dunelm.
4. Purchase drawer dividers and storage bins
To organise under sink drawers purchase or make yourself some simple drawer dividers or storage bins. This makes organising shower products, medicine and general miscellaneous bathroom items so much easier to avoid clutter and the panic of having to rummage through drawers to find anything.
5. Have a stylish tray
For those aesthetically pleasing items such as your favourite perfume or hand cream, store on the bathroom countertop in a stylish tray to decorate. Anything like this Not On The High Street marble vanity tray would create a stylish look.
6. Caddy for everyday make up
If you’re one to do your make up or skincare in the bathroom, then maybe consider getting yourself a lovely organisation caddy to keep all everyday cosmetics together. This will hopefully help avoid any products taking over the bathroom countertops – just us?
7. Shower storage
To keep shower products tidy we suggest getting a shower caddy to put up on the wall. This gives us more room in the shower and stops us from keeping lots of empty bottles in the shower tray to create a clean look and feel. There’s a great choice of shower caddies at B&Q, so perhaps you could start there!

8. Matching bottles
To encourage yourself to have only necessary shower products, we love to buy matching bottles for shampoo, shower gel and hand-soap. This will create a more relaxing, aesthetically pleasing spa look to our bathroom for us to enjoy.
We hope these helpful tips have inspired you to create yourself a relaxing, spa-like, organised bathroom which you truly deserve.
