How are we empowering real women?

SoSensational began when friends said they struggled to find fabulous fashion for over 50s, and with this thought in mind, we set out to create a one-stop site tailored and edited for women over 50. With fashion and beauty tips over on our blog, as well as a hand-curated shop filled with pieces suited to over 50s, we’ve sifted through the internet for all the best clothes and tips so you don’t have to.

Our number one aim is to promote and empower real women like you, who are currently under-represented on the high street. With the shops and media filled with young, tall, slim models, it can be hard to find clothes showcased on a variety of sizes, ages and body shapes- even when the shop is aimed at our age group! We wish to change the way everyone observes 50-plus fashion, by proving everyone can look bold and beautiful in their clothes.

With this in mind, we want to share your style shots and selfies. We’re on a mission to showcase our amazing community filled with gorgeous over 50s who aren’t afraid to express themselves by styling up their clothes in their own, unique way, and proudly capture their looks on camera. It’s so easy to look fashionable at 50, so we’d love you to use our latest campaign as a way to express yourself, and inspire others with new style ideas, colour combos and a create whole new sense of pride in your gorgeous looks. There aren’t many older women in fashion and style shoots, but you can help combat this!
