What’s the fashion for winter 2020?
By now, you’ll have caught our autumn/winter 2019 trend predictions, so today, we’re here to give you an update on the latest trends! As predicted, plaid, fur and ’70s are all huge at the minute, so we were keen to see how our runway predictions have made their way onto the high street. As always, we’ve picked the perfect trends that look gorgeous on a stylish lady over 50.
’70s
Throwbacks to the 1970s are definitely key to this season’s trends, taking on camel colourways, ’70s patterns, and preppy designs.
’70s trends: patterns
Argyle, florals, checks and houndstooth… they’re all key to the perfect ’70s look that looks just as fabulous on us now as it did when we were last in the ’70s! These days, we’re choosing (as predicted) argyle on our knits, flower power floral prints on blouses and dresses, and houndstooth and checks on our suits and jackets.
