Focus on Fashion #1 – Perfect Precious Jewel Colours

Colour – yes, colour, we’re talking about colour again.

We know we do that a lot here at SoSensational. We’ve told you often why we love colour and why colour is so vital to looking sensational. Because the right hue for you makes your skin glow and your eyes shine.

And best of all, the fashion world has got on board with offering colour – and not just for the upcoming Spring 17 Season, but also for the next couple of seasons based on all the gorgeous shades showing up on the runways of New York, London, Paris and Milan during their Fashion Weeks.

With milder days arriving soon, and Easter on the horizon, it is definitely time to rock some bold colour. We especially love all the glowing Jewel Tones around right now, the sensational sapphires, the amazing amethysts (that’s violet and purple to you and me), the astonishing emeralds, the ravishing ruby reds and the terrific topazes (that’s all those beautiful shades of yellow). Not all of these bold shades replicate jewel tones (teal, for instance) but we love them just the same. It’s a season for bold colour, jewel tones and other bright paint-box hues.

Choose one colour as a main colour or an accent colour, or choose several shades to mix up. And if you don’t want to wear block colour head-to-toe, wear a jewel colour just on your top half or wear a jewel colour only on your bottom half. Or add just a pop of colour via jewel-colour shoes or bag.
